After a block reference is created one can modify it: move, rotate, scale, mirror, explode, copy. A block as other objects of ABViewer has properties that can be viewed and redefined in the panel Properties.
Property |
Description |
|---|---|
Color |
Defines the color of the block reference, which is applied to all the block objects which have the color value By layer. |
Layer |
Defines the layer which the block reference belongs to. The property contains a list of all available in the drawing layers and allows to move the block reference to another one. |
Line Weight |
Defines the lineweight of the block reference, which is applied to all the block objects which have the color value By layer. |
Block name |
Defines the block definition name in the file. |
Angle |
Sets the rotation angle of the block reference in the XY plane relative to the point of insertion. |
Point |
Sets the coordinated of the insertion point. |
Scale |
Sets the scale of the block reference along the axes X, Y, Z. The proportions of a block aren't kept when the scale along one of the axes is changed. A negative value results in a mirrored reflection of the block along this axis. By default the scale is 100% (1 in the properties). |
If a block has no attributes its size can be changed with the help of the markers. If a block reference has attributes, only the block insertion point with the help of which it is moved is shown.
To divide a block reference into constituents select the block reference and use the command Explode. This command affects only the block reference and doesn't influence the block definition. To delete a block definition use the command Purge.
